Gwadar Press Club serves as an important platform for local journalists, playing a key role in highlighting public issues, pointing out government actions, and raising voices for positive change. It is the responsibility of Gwadar’s journalists to carry out their duties with neutrality and honesty, to stand by the truth, and to actively counter false or misleading information. The core principle of journalism is fact-based reporting. A professional journalist must provide accurate information to the public without any pressure or personal interest. In a growing city like Gwadar, the role of journalists becomes even more crucial—monitoring development projects, addressing public concerns, and observing government policies.Journalists should use their reporting and writing to bring public issues to light effectively. They must avoid becoming part of any false propaganda and always prioritize truth and integrity in their work. The Gwadar Press Club must continue to act as a strong and reliable platform, ensuring that local journalism remains positive, responsible, and unbiased in its journey forward.
Hamood ur Rehman Ranjha Deputy Commissioner, Gwadar
The Gwadar Press Club continues to serve as a vital pillar in the region's journalistic landscape, fostering responsible reporting and open dialogue within the community. Under the dynamic leadership of its young and motivated cabinet, the club has taken impressive strides in both structural and digital growth. The recent renovation of the building reflects a renewed commitment to professionalism and symbolizes a fresh chapter for local media. Most notably, the successful launch of the club’s official website marks a significant milestone, offering a centralized platform for press activities, member engagement, and regional news. This achievement highlights the forward-thinking vision of the team and sets a promising direction for the future of journalism in Gwadar.
Mir Arshad Kalmati Political and Social Figure, District Gwadar
As one of the founding members of the Gwadar Press Club, I have seen its journey from the very beginning. Over the years, the club has faced many challenges, but it has always stood strong as a voice for local journalists. I’ve watched it grow from simple gatherings of dedicated reporters to what it is today, a well-organized and respected institution. This recent shift from traditional ways to a more modern, digital presence is a proud moment for all of us. The launch of the official website shows how far we’ve come. It’s not just about going online; it’s about giving Gwadar’s journalists a new space to share stories and connect with the world. I truly appreciate the efforts of the new cabinet, especially the young team that made this dream a reality.

Gwadar Press Club is not just an institution—it is a voice committed to truth, awareness, and facts. In a time when journalism is under pressure and truth is often censored, Gwadar's journalists continue to fulfill their duties with honesty, courage, and professional integrity, despite limited resources. My journey in journalism began with the soil of Gwadar—the same soil that taught me the power of the pen, gave me the courage to speak the truth, and inspired me to highlight public issues. The Gwadar Press Club is a platform for all voices that speak for the unheard. It is my sincere hope that our Press Club becomes a modern center for journalistic training, promotes investigative reporting, offers opportunities for young writers, and brings local issues to the global stage. We must rise above personal interests and treat journalism as a public trust, dedicating our words to truth, ethics, and the welfare of the people.May God grant us the strength to speak, write, and endure the truth.
