Gwadar Press Club Unveils Official Website, Leading Balochistan’s Move Toward Digitalization Gwadar: In a landmark moment for media in Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Hamood ur Rehman inaugurated the Gwadar Press Club’s first-ever official website and digital system, officially making it the province’s first fully digitalized press club. During the inauguration ceremony, Deputy Commissioner Hamood ur Rehman praised the initiative as a forward-thinking development. He noted that the new platform would offer a reliable source of news and information about Gwadar to audiences around the world, especially those living abroad or outside the region who may not have direct access to local news channels or WhatsApp groups. “Whether someone is based in America, London, or any other part of the globe, they will now be able to stay connected with Gwadar,” he remarked. He also emphasized the need to keep the website updated regularly, highlighting that maintaining its activity is crucial to ensuring its long-term impact. Speaking on the occasion, President of Gwadar Press Club, Ismail Umar, explained that the primary goal of launching the official website is to raise awareness about local issues and deliver the concerns of Gwadar’s residents to higher authorities more effectively.
